Why I became a nurse
I believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare information, regardless of where they come from or their socioeconomic status. Nursing gave me a way to serve people directly and help make quality care more accessible when they need it.
Why I built Nurse Beast
Impact matters to me more than simply building another business. I wanted a way to pay forward what nursing has given me and use the experience I have accumulated to help current and future nursing students make clearer decisions with less unnecessary struggle.
Where the perspective comes from
I started in healthcare before becoming an RN just before COVID. My clinical background is primarily ICU and perioperative care, including pre-op and PACU, and I spent nearly three years working as a Resource ICU nurse. I have worked staff and travel roles across 11 hospitals and 10 travel locations.
What I want Nurse Beast to become
I want Nurse Beast to help people achieve a dream that can change how they see themselves and what they believe they can accomplish. Nursing school is difficult, and finishing it is a real achievement. The goal is to make the path clearer without pretending anyone else can walk it for you.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Discipline + consistency over time.
You do not have to be perfect every day or every week. If you do the useful things more often than you do not, you give yourself a real chance to move forward. Nurse Beast is designed around small, meaningful actions that build clarity and momentum over time.
What my experience can — and cannot — give you
My perspective is useful because I have seen nursing from multiple hospitals, staffing models, units, and roles. Nurse Beast can give you frameworks, questions, practical perspective, and options to consider. It does not replace your school, faculty, state board, employer, medical advice, legal advice, or an official admissions decision.
